The 2007 Sacred Heart football season is right around the corner with players reporting for training camp over the weekend and the first practice slated for Monday morning. Before the snap of helmets and the pop of the pads the Pioneers hosted their 7th Annual Kick-Off Golf Tournament on August 2nd at the Whitney Farms Golf Course in Monroe.

Head Coach Paul Gorham and his staff welcomed friends and family of the program as well as several Pioneer alums for lunch, 18 holes of golf and dinner to help celebrate the start of a new season and raise money to benefit the student athletes.

Sacred Heart University Athletics and the football staff gratefully acknowledges the tournament's sponsors, players and volunteers whose generous gifts helped make the event a huge success.
