Sacred Heart Pioneers Deliver Homecoming Win, 24-14, over Bryant Bulldogs

Sacred Heart got 109 yards rushing from junior Marcel Archer and a pair of touchdown passes from junior quarterback Dale Fink while pitching a second half shutout on the way to a 24-14 win over Bryant University on "Homecoming Weekend". Pioneer sophomore linebackers Michael Zambarano and Chris Mandas had a game-high 11 tackles and a sack each to lead the defensive charge in snapping a three-game slide. [+]

Steve Tedesco Named CoSIDA / ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District

For the third-straight season, Sacred Heart senior Steve Tedesco (Mission Viejo, CA) was named to the CoSIDA ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District football team announced on Thursday. Tedesco earns District 1 first team honors and will now be placed on the national ballot on November 10th for Academic All-American honors. [+]

Pioneers Play Host to Bryant on Homecoming Weekend

The Sacred Heart Pioneers return to Campus Field for "Homecoming Weekend" facing new Northeast Conference member Bryant University. The Pioneers and Bulldogs will meet for the first time since the 2000 season and as NEC members. SHU returns home for the final two games of the season and are looking to end a three-game skid after a 9-7 loss at Robert Morris last Saturday. [+]

Pioneers Lose Defensive Battle, 9-7, at Robert Morris

The Sacred Heart Pioneers held Robert Morris to just three field goals but were held to just 115 yards of total offense coming up short, 9-7, in a defensive Northeast Conference battle Saturday afternoon. Sophomore linebacker Chris Mandas led three Pioneers with double digit tackles making a career-high 15 stops, nine solo, in the loss. [+]
