Sacred Heart Rallies to Defeat Duquesne, 29-17

PITTSBURGH (AP) -Evin Jones caught one touchdown pass and ran for two more scores as Sacred Heart overcame a shaky start in a 29-17 win on Saturday.
After Duquesne jumped out to a 17-point lead on two touchdowns and a field goal, Dale Fink threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to Jones in the second quarter for Sacred Heart (7-1, 3-1 Northeast Conference) as it handed Duquesne its fourth straight loss.
Fink, who completed 27 of 34 passes for 268 yards, also threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Brian Friedman. Jones rushed for 74 yards on 26 carries and scored on two one-yard touchdown runs in the third quarter.
Duquesne (2-5, 1-4) picked off Fink twice in the first half, including once in the end zone, to set up touchdown and field goal drives.
Duquesne opened scoring on Connor Dixon's 29-yard touchdown pass to Michael Rasky, Dixon's 4-yard pass to Conrad Carter and on Mark Troyan's 41-yard field goal.
Dixon completed nine passes for 107 yards, but also threw three interceptions, for the Dukes.
The Pioneers had 359 yards of total offense and held Duquesne to 171 yards.
