Assistant Coach Brian Gordon is entering his first season on head coach Paul Gorham's staff in 2007. Gordan will work on the defensive side of the ball, coaching the outside linebacker position. Gordon comes to Sacred Heart after spending the 2006 and 2005 seasons as the tight ends coach and special team's coordinator at Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts. Prior to his stint at Assumption, he spent the 2004 season as the defensive coordinator at Stratford High School. A native of Bloomfield, Gordon played a season of football at Southern Connecticut State University where he graduated with an education degree in 1997 and a master's in exercise science/physical education in 2007. Currently a teacher at Central High School in Bridgeport, he is engaged to marry Sharon Miranda in June.
