The 2016 season will be the 10th on the Pioneer sideline for Associate Head Coach Kevin Bolis. It marks his sixth as the programs offensive coordinator and he will once again coach the Pioneer offensive linemen.

  • The Pioneer offense averaged 383.6 yards per game in 2015, highlighted by First-Team All-NEC selections for Tyler Dube and RJ Noel
  • The 2014 squad ranked second in program history with 4,607 total yards of offense, 383.9 yards per game
  • Jaime Martinez was named Sports Network FCS Third Team All-America, ECAC All-Star accolades 
  • Martinez, First-Team,and Dan Polaski, Second-Team, were named to the All-NEC offensive line in 2014
  • Bolis' 2013 squad set school records for first downs (248), rushing yards (3,077), total yards (5,293) and tied the school record with 450 points
  • The O-Line yielded just nine sacks all of 2013 on first-year QB R.J Noel, who won NEC Rookie of the Year
  • Two of Bolis' offensive lineman, Paul Link and Martinez, were First-Team All-NEC selections, while Link was also named to the All-New England team.
  • Keshaudas Spence ran to NEC Offensive Player of the Year honors and was named second team All-American honors that season as well
  • The offensive line paved the way for back-to-back 1,000 yard rushers in 2007 (Jason Payne) and 2008 (Evan Jones)
  • The 2008 offensive line allowed only seven sacks
  • Bolis has mentored several All-Conference selections during his tenure, including offensive linemen Ryan Arroyo ’08, Justin Smith ’08 and Abel Malae ’09
  • Bolis came to Sacred Heart after spending the 2005 and 2006 seasons coaching the offensive line, tight ends and running backs at his alma mater, Colgate University
  • He coached Jordan Scott, a Third-Team All-America and ECAC Rookie of the Year, in 2005 to a 1,300 yard season and a Patriot League Championship
  • He spent the 2002 and 2003 seasons as a graduate assistant at Iowa State, before coaching the O-Line and tight ends at Bryant in 2004
  • Bolis began his coaching career at Canisius College in 2001
  • Bolis was a four-year starter for Colgate and was twice named All-Conference, leading the Raiders to three NCAA Tournament berths and a pair of Patriot League crowns
