Three Pioneers Named To National Football Foundation’s Hampshire Honor Society

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Sacred Heart senior football student-athletes Tyler Beauchesne, Alec Finney, and TaMaric Wilson were named to the National Football Foundation's Hampshire Honor Society on Tuesday.

The NFF Hampshire Honor Society is comprised of college football players from all divisions who maintained a cumulative 3.2 grade point average or better throughout their college careers.

Finney was selected to the Northeast Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll for the fourth time this season. Beauchesne and Wilson have each been named to the NEC Fall Academic Honor Roll three times. Finney made eight of 10 field goals in his senior season and averaged 38 yards per punt with 20 punts inside the 20-yardline. Wilson made 27 tackles in his final season as a Pioneer with two pass breakups. Beauchesne made nine tackles with 0.5 sacks this season.

Sacred Heart will host its Spring Game on Saturday at Campus Field at 10 a.m.
