NEW YORK, NY - Junior Adam Constantine won two of three possible points in epee against both NYU and Vassar, the strongest Sacred Heart weapon of the evening, but the Pioneers fell to a strong New York University team, 23-4, and then dropped an 18-9 decision to Vassar on Tuesday night.

Freshman Charles Thompson also won a point in epee against NYU and two against Vassar for the Pioneers. The Pioneers won the sabre event against Vassar, 5-4.

Freshman Matthew Laudicina picked up the other SHU point in sabre.

NYU and Vassar both swept the foil event from Sacred Heart, 9-0.
