ALLENTOWN, PA - Senior Jim Hazen (Miller Place, NY) averaged 209 over nine games to help Sacred Heart University finish in 17th place out of 24 teams at the Pennsylvania Classic last weekend. It was the season-opening event for the Pioneers.

Hazen finished in 26th place in the individual standings. Freshman Dan Dabkowski (E. Northport, NY) also had a strong weekend with a 204 average.

Penn State came away with the individual team championship, followed by Mohawk Valley Community College 59 pins behind. St. Joh's finished in third, Shippensburg in fourth, and St. Peter's in fifth.

193 average by Justin Koonz for nine games

181 average by Jon Bassi for one game
