FAIRFIELD, CT - The Sacred Heart University men's basketball desperately needs a win if it is to secure a place in the Northeast Conference post-season tournament. The Pioneers have lost seven of eight and look to right the ship on Tuesday with a 7 p.m. home game against St. Francis College of Brooklyn.

St. Francis comes in as the hottest team in the Northeast Conference with four straight wins. All four of those wins came at home, where SFNY is 8-5 this season. The Terriers are just 2-9 on the road this season and 1-5 in road games in the NEC. The Terriers are coming off a 70-69 overtime win over Robert Morris on Saturday, led by 17 points from freshman guard John Gooden.
