Considered by many the best point guard coming out of the State of Connecticut as a freshman. On offensively-minded player who adds depth to the guard position. Has explosive quickness with the ability to separate himself from defenders. 2003-04: Had his first career double-double with ten points and a career-high 13 rebounds against Quinnipiac. 2002-03: Registered a career-high five steals against FDU on 2/8. Had a career high 19 points in opener of San Juan shootout against Duquesne. Got his first collegiate start against Manhattan and had five points and seven assists. Has started two games. High School: Led Northwest Catholic High School in West Hartford to the Class M State Championship his senior year, averaging 15 points, 8.5 assists, five rebounds and two steals per game. Named All-State by the Hartford Courant, New Haven Register and state coaches. Was named All-Conference his junior and senior seasons. Was named All-State and team MVP after the state title his senior year. Personal: Son of Michael and Rita Parker. Family recently relocated to Maryland. Has a brother, Derrick. Favorite sports teams are the Philadelphia 76ers, San Francisco 49ers, and Atlanta Braves. Favorite athletes are Randy Moss and Allen Iverson. Favorite book is The Client and favorite movie is Scarface. Favorite food is baby back ribs. Lists his grandfather as his role model because he looked after others before himself.
