High School: Attended Lawrence Woodmere Academy where he played basketball for four years for coach Jeff Weiss. Was named all-county and all-league his senior year, and was a Second Team All-Long Island selection by NY Newsday. He averaged 21 points and 11 rebounds a game that season to help Woodmere reach the Class A championship game.

Personal: Son of Rick and Zelda Marshall. Has one brother, Tony, and a sister, Jennifer. Majoring in biology. Favorite sports team is the New York Knicks. Favorite athlete is Dwayne Wade.
