2003-04: Had nine points and six rebounds in the opener against UConn. 2002-03: Played more minutes than he did in the two previous. Had a career-high 11 rebounds in a career-high 37 minutes in the win over UMBC. Played 26 minutes against CCSU and set individuals highs in blocks (3) and steals (4). Had ten rebounds in win over Quinnipiac. 2001-02: Played in 22 games, starting two. Had a season-high 14 points in just 16 minutes on 2/16/02 in a win over St. Francis (NY), shooting six of nine from the field. Averaged 9.4 minutes per game. 2000-01: A surprise find who contributed immediately to the program. Produced a career-high 21 points against UMBC on 1/22/01. Averaged 5.5 points and 2.2 rebounds per game.
High School: James' scholastic career was devoid of competition because the school he attended, Lutheran Academy in Philadelphia, did not field a basketball team.
Personal: Son of Ruth and Jessie James. Sports Management Major. His brother Jerome currently plays for the Seattle Supersonics of the NBA. Favorite sports team is the Miami Heat and favorite athletes are Eddie Jones and Alonzo Mourning. Favorite book is Harry Potter and the Sorcer's Stone and favorite movie is Meet Joe Black. Likes to work on music production in his spare time. Would like the chance to have dinner with Dr. Dre.
