The youngest coach of head coach Dave Bike starts his seventh season on the Sacred Heart coaching staff and fourth as a full-time assistant. Bike has an active role in the Pioneer recruiting efforts. In addition to his coaching duties on and off the court, he spends summers coaching and managing at numerous basketball clinics and camps.

He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Hartford, and completed his graduate degree at Sacred Heart in 2001.

While an undergraduate at Hartford, Bike was a four-year member of the men's basketball team. He averaged 11.4 points, led the team in assists, and poured in a team-high 58 three-pointers as a senior. A two-time captain for the Hawks, he ranks fourth all-time at Hartford in three-pointers, and is fifth in steals. He also received the team's Melvin Fine Leadership Award twice at Hartford.

Bike, who earned a B.S. in human services with a concentration in child care and families from Hartford, received the Certificate for Academic Achievement his senior year, and was named to the America East Honor Roll. In high school, he was named an All-State basketball player three times and an esteemed honorable mention as a McDonald's All-American while at Xavier in Middletown.

Bike lives in Stamford, CT with his wife Stephanie, who was a varsity basketball player at the University of New Hampshire. They had their first baby this summer, a daughter named Keira.
