SHU Men's Basketball Falls to Holy Cross, 93-81, in Season-Opener

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Sacred Heart University men's basketball team opened the 2018-19 season with a 93-81 road loss against Holy Cross on Tuesday evening at the Hart Center at the Luth Athletic Complex.

With the loss, SHU falls to 0-1 to open the season for the second year in a row. Sean Hoehn led the way for the Pioneers with 25 points, including 16 in the second half. Koreem Ozier added 23 points in his collegiate debut, while Jare'l Spellman scored nine points, grabbed eight rebounds and blocked three shots in his Pioneer debut.
