ATHENS, GA - The start of the NCAA Baseball Regional game between Sacred Heart and the University of Georgia Has been postponed until 11 a.m. Saturday. Rain and thunderstorms in the area caused the late start of the first game of the day between Florida State and Jacksonville, eventually causing that game to be suspended in the top of the eighth inning with Florida State leading 18-0.

If the Pioneers win the game against Georgia in the morning, they would play Florida State at 7 tomorrow night in the winner's bracket. Should they lose to Georgia, the Pioneers will take on Jacksonville at 3 tomorrow afternoon in an elimination game.

Both games tomorrow can be heard right here on Sacredheartpioneers.com, with the pre-game show for the Georgia game starting at 10:30 a.m. You can listen to the game by clicking WSHU.org and click on "listen" under the live stream heading. Assistant AD, Gene Gumbs, and Marty Kaplan will bring you every pitch of the Athens Regional.
