FAIRFIELD, CT - Junior Ryan Lynch (N. Babylon, NY) was named First Team All-Northeast Conference in baseball by a vote of conference coaches. Lynch, who pitched, played first and the outfield, was selected to the utility position.

The burly, right-handed hitting junior, a transfer from Cecil Community College, batted .285 for the Pioneers with a pair of homers and 16 RBI. His slugging percentage (.392) was third on the club.

Lynch also led the Pioneers with a 4.42 ERA in 38 2/3 innings pitched. His time on the mound was limited at the end of the season due to arm trouble.

The Pioneers finished sixth in the league standings with a 10-18 record.
