6/10/2009 - BaseballMarc Damelio Memorial Golf Tournament July 3The Sixth Annual Marc Damiello Memorial Golf Classic, named in honor of the former Sacred Heart University baseball player, will be held on July 3 at Hawk's Landing Country Club in Southington, CT. All proceeds from the tournament go to the Damielo Memorial Scholarship Fund at Thomaston High School. [+] |

6/10/2009 - BaseballGiaquinto Adds Three More to Baseball Squad for 2010Sacred Heart baseball coach Nick Giaquinto signed three more players to National Letters of Intent for the 2010 season. The Pioneers have added right handed hurlers John Hermanson (Milford, CT) and Troy Scribner (Washington, CT), and lefty thrower Dave Boisture (Cornwall, NY) for next season. They join previouly signed pitcher and shortstop John Murphy (Seymore, CT). [+] |
6/5/2009 - BaseballHanson and Heppner Play in NEIBA All-Star GameSenior first baseman Jeff Hanson and junior catcher Jeff Heppner competed in the 35th New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association (NEIBA) All-Star Classic last night at Campanalli Stadium in Brockton, MA. The University (Division I) All-Stars broke the game open late, defeating the College (Division II and III) Division 11-0. [+] |
