Final Stats

BRONX, NY - The Sacred Heart baseball team took a 2-0 lead after two innings with RBI by Tim Lantz and Curtis Lewsey, but the Manhattan Jaspers would score six unanswered runs to defeat the Pioneers 6-2 on Tuesday afternoon.

After allowing the two early runs, Manhattan pitcher Ken Gleason settled down and allowed just two hits through seven innings of work to even his record at 1-1.

Anthony Diaz and Jay Maiella each had a pair of hits for the Pioneers, who fell to 4-27 on the season.
