RIVERDALE, NY - Mark Onorati had three hits and four RBI as the Manhattan Jasper baseball team scored 12 runs in the final five innings off the Sacred Heart bullpen to take a 14-9 non-conference win Tuesday afternoon.

Junior Corey Corcoran (Norwich, CT) worked the first three innings for the Pioneers and allowed just one run on three hits. Mick Oswald came on to start the fourth and walked the only batter he faced. The Jaspers then collected 15 hits and 12 runs against a combination of James Ineson and MJ Schifano.

The Pioneers were led by junior Jeff Heppner who had three hits and three RBI, raising his team-high total to 34. Senior Frank Bainer also had three hits and a pair of RBI.

The Pioneers will be back in action on Friday as they start a four-game weekend series against LIU at the Ballpark at Harbor Yard. Friday's game starts at 3:30.
