    Sacred Heart graduate student Steve Tedesco (Mission Viejo, CA) was named the 2011 Northeast Conference Baseball Scholar-Athlete of the Year announced by the league in addition to the 2011 Spring Academic and Commissioner's Honor Rolls. Sacred Heart has 93 student-athletes earn a spot on the NEC Academic Honor Roll and 18 student-athletes garner NEC Commissioner’s Honor Roll honors.

The Northeast Conference champion Pioneers finished their season 34-23, concluding a year in which they won their most ever games in program history.
