Katie Sullivan joins the Sacred Heart Athletic Department as the new Graduate Assistant for Athletic Communications. She will be serving as the primary contact for soccer, women’s basketball, men’s lacrosse and swimming.

Sullivan, originally from Hamden, CT is curretly working towards her Masters in Communications at Sacred Heart. In May of 2011, she graduated from Salve Regina University with a Bachelors Degree in English Communications. May also marked the end of her time with the Newport Gulls baseball team where she served as the media and communications intern.  Sullivan's responsibilities with the Gulls included writing press releases and organizing fund raising events.
