Recruiting Materials

Prior to Sept. 1, at the beginning of the prospect's junior year of high school, Sacred Heart University may send:

 

1. Camp brochures
2. Questionnaires
3. NCAA educational information

After Sept. 1 of the beginning of the prospect's junior year in high school, the University may send the following information to the prospect (In the sport of men's basketball, these materials may be sent at the conclusion of the prospect's sophomore year):

 

1. General correspondence (letters, faxes e-mails, etc.)
2. Educational information published by the NCAA
3. Copies of newspaper clippings
4. Pre-enrollment information that is available to the general public
5. One wallet-sized playing schedule card per sport
6. One annual athletics publication (i.e. a media guide)

During an official or unofficial visit, the university can provide the prospect with:

 

1. Game day programs
2. One student-athlete handbook

Once a prospect has signed a National Letter of Intent or has been accepted for enrollment, SHU may provide:

 

1. Information pertaining to orientation, conditioning, practice activities and academics
2. One Student-Athlete Handbook
