Summer Camps and Conference Planning
Sacred Heart University offers a wide variety of summer athletic
camp offerings administered and run by both the Department of
Athletics and outside organizations. The purpose of each of these
camps is to increase the skill levels of boys and girls in their
selected sports in an environment that fosters teamwork, individual
and team skills development, self-confidence and good
sportsmanship.
Sacred Heart Athletics camps are administered by members of the Pioneers coaching staff and instructors include Pioneers and other collegiate and high school coaches. Outside organizations that conduct their camps at the University bring instructor staffs made up of some of the finest collegiate and high school coaches on the East Coast.

? Events, Meetings and Conference Planning The multi-purpose William H. Pitt Health and Recreation Center offers tremendous flexibility to meet the needs of conferences and expositions. The four-basketball court layout on the main level of the Pitt Center can be set up to accommodate the space requirements for a 200-plus booth trade show. Over 60,000 people have attended events in the Pitt Center since the beginning of the 1999-2000 academic year, including the 2000 Connecticut Business Exposition and the 2000 Connecticut Technology Trade Show and Career Fair.
