Shaun Ihasz in his first year as the Athletic Communications first ever Graduate Asistant.

Ihasz worked as a student intern in the Athletic Communications office during the 2007-08 season. He will serve as the primary contact for men's and women's cross country, men's and women's track and field, women's ice hockey, and softball. He will also serve as the secondary contact for men's ice hockey.

Ihasz is a 2008 graduate of Sacred Heart University, majoring in sport management and business administration. Faculty members awarded him the gold medal of excellence in sport management. He was also a four-year member of the Sacred Heart men's bowling team, competing across the country for the Pioneers. In the offseason Ihasz also serves as an official scorer for the Bridgeport Bluefish, an Atlantic League baseball team.

Originally from Long Island, Ihasz is the oldest of nine children, and now resides in Bridgeport. He is currently pursuing his MBA at Sacred Heart.
