Mike Guastelle begins his 12th year as a member of the Sacred Heart University athletic department. Mike currently holds the position of Associate Athletic Director for Operations as well as head coach of the Pioneer men's and women's tennis program. Prior to working in Operations, Mike served as Director of Athletic Communications for seven years. As a coach, Mike was the 1997 New England Collegiate Conference's women's tennis "Coach of the Year" and last year led the men's program to the finals of the Northeast Conference Tennis Championships. He holds a bachelor's degree in Sports Management as well as a master's degree in Athletic Administration from Springfield College. Mike resides in Fairfield with his wife Karen, the Dean of Undergraduate Admissions at the University.
