Brendan Flynn Position: Graduate Assistant Experience: 1st Year

Sacred Heart Assistant Athletic Director for Communications Gene Gumbs has announced the hiring of Brendan Flynn as the new Graduate Assistant in the Athletic Communications Office.

Flynn, a 2009 graduate of Springfield College, will serve as the primary contact for field hockey, women's ice hockey, swimming, wrestling, and men's lacrosse.

At Springfield, Flynn earned his degree in sport management and worked in the sports information office. During his time at Springfield he also worked in the sports information office at Western New England College and completed an internship at American International College in the spring of 2009.

Flynn, a lifelong Connecticut resident, lives in Wallingford and is currently working towards his MBA at Sacred Heart.
