Julie Alexander Position: Assistant AD/Athletic Training Experience: 13th year Teams: Men's Ice Hockey, Tennis, M&W Bowling

Alexander, an assistant athletic director, is in her 10th year as head of Sacred Heart's athletic training staff and 13th in the program overall. Previously she served as assistant and associate director. Alexander and her staff of six full-time certified athletic trainers, four graduate assistant athletic trainers and one part-time trainer are responsible for the care of the University's 1000 student-athletes. Alexander, a native of Storrs, CT, earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Eastern Connecticut State in 1990, and a master's in Education from Old Dominion in 1993. She worked as an assistant athletic trainer at St. Bonaventure for two years prior to her arrival at Sacred Heart. She and her husband, Kyle, live in Prospect and have a son, Blake (4).
