Men's Club Volleyball

The Men’s Club Volleyball team at Sacred Heart will begin its sixth season as a club squad in 2015-2016.
The team is consisted of about 20 men of all different volleyball backgrounds
(gym class/intramurals/high school/club/former Division 1 experience).

The team is a member of the NECVL Volleyball league which consists of roughly 40 teams in the Northeast Region. The league competes tournament style which means all of our matches are on Saturday's or Sunday's in February & March and are all-day events. It is a long day but the tournaments are a lot of fun and the team gets to travel to Rhode Island, Boston and everywhere in between to compete. As long as the team does well enough, we will qualify for the NECVL Championships at the end of March. Here is the league website:

The 2014-2015 season was a successful one, winning the Division 2 Inter-Divisional Tournament, automatically qualifying for its third straight NECVL Championships. Sacred Heart finished the regular season with a 7-3 record. Unfortunately Sacred Heart struggled at the Championships going 1-3 on Day 1 and 0-2 on Day 2, completing the season with an 8-8 overall record.

They practice two nights a week from September until March at 10pm.
