Congrats to the SHU Dance Team for placing 3rd in the National Dance Alliance Competition!
Club Baseball reached the NCBA District II Playoffs for the 2nd straight year!
Congrats to Men's Lacrosse for winning their New England Division and making it to the Elite 8 Playoffs in Maryland!
Highlights from 2011-2012:
Club Sports teams participated in a total of 252 games, competitions and tournaments
throughout the 2011-2012 year. This is a 5.4% from FY2011. There
were some notable
achievements that took place throughout the year.

Club Weightlifting won the New England Weightlifting Championships where they competed against many professional clubs.

Figure skating won the ISI Adult National Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada for the 2nd consecutive year and placed in numerous other competitions throughout the year. They also held their 3rd Pioneer Open.

The Dance Team finished 5th overall in the country in the NDA/NCA competition in Daytona, Florida.

Club Baseball reached the NCBA playoffs for the 1st time and lost to eventual NCBA tournament Champion, Hofstra.

Men's Basketball competed in the NIRSA Regional Tournament held at Boston University in February.

Club Softball played in the NSCA for the 2nd year finishing in 2nd place in their division.

Women's Rugby had another successful season losing in the first round of the playoffs. They also placed at the "Beast of the East" Tournament in April.

Men's Rugby had another successful season where they won the "Beast of the East" tournament in April and also competed in the Apple Blossom Tournament in Washington D.C.

Men's Rugby also hosted a home match on Campus Field which drew over 600 fans.

We have continued to develop and investigate new sports for the upcoming years. We will be recreating Ultimate Frisbee and exploring other new options for sports.

Women's Volleyball qualified for the playoffs for the 4th consecutive year.
