Over the past three seasons, Sacred Heart University Club Hockey Pioneers has had great success on and off the ice.  The team has had an overall record of 48-26-4.  During that time SHU Club Hockey has been nationally ranked and have also been to the North Eastern Collegiate Hockey Association tournament three times, where the team captured two American Conference Regular Season Championships (2013 and 2014) and two American Conference Tournament Championships (2013 and 2014).

As SHU Club Hockey has experienced success on the ice, the program has grown to include two teams: an A team and a B team.  The A team plays in the American conference of NECHA last season.  Typically speaking the A team plays about 25-30 games each season.  The B team is an independent team that plays about 10-15 games each season.  Each team practices once a week on their own, and there is one combined practice per week.
